International Tai Chi Chuan Association (ITCCA™)

ITCCA Northeast

The still young branch ‚ITCCA Northeast’ currently includes ITCCA schools in Potsdam, Halle and Oldenburg. Further schools in Berlin and Brandenburg are in preparation. The branch was transferred in 2005 initially as ‚ITCCA Potsdam’ by Master Chu King-Hung to Dr. Florian Jeltsch. In October 2012 the branch was renamed 'ITCCA Northeast' with the approval of Master Chu.

Dr. Florian Jeltsch

I have been learning Tai Chi since 1985 (initially with Dr. Reinhard Graw, then also with Frieder Anders and Master Chu King Hung) and have been teaching as an ITCCA instructor since 1990. After several years as a teacher in Marburg/Lahn and in Leipzig, I have been leading beginner and advanced courses in Potsdam with great pleasure since the year 2000. In October 2005, Grandmaster Chu King-Hung entrusted me with the leadership of my own branch (ITCCA Northeast since 2012).

My own learning and teaching constantly show me the incredible depth and possibilities of this movement art. I am now beginning to understand some aspects of the inner Tai Chi after almost 30 years, while others I can only sense for the first time.

In my teaching, it is particularly important to me to accompany every disciple on his or her individual Tai Chi path. In doing so, I hopefully sometimes succeed in conveying a part of my enthusiasm and fascination for genuine Tai Chi Chuan.
